Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology
Overview

The Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry (M.A.P.M.) program prepares students for competent leadership in a specialized ministry in the Catholic Church. The program strives to provide the student with both a theological education and specialized training in a chosen field of ministerial engagement.

A Unique Approach
As a school of theology, ICSST offers its students a sound theological foundation, as well as a pastoral and spiritual formation for a diverse group of men and women preparing for ministries among the People of God. It also provides varied opportunities for further theological studies and career paths. Students enjoy a sense of community while enhancing their education.

Locations
Courses are offered on Seton Hall University's main campus in South Orange, New Jersey, as well as at off-campus locations and parishes in collaboration with ICSST's many certificate programs.

Who Should Apply?
Students who are aspiring to or currently working in ministry should apply. Those seeking to further their knowledge of the Catholic faith and put in into practice through competent leadership in ministry would greatly benefit from the Master of Pastoral Ministry Program at ICSST.

The Program
The M.A.P.M. program consists of four components: coursework; field education and theological reflection; spiritual formation; and the Integration Seminar/Final Comprehensive Project.

Career Advancement
The Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry program prepares students for ministerial work within the Church. Students will seek out a particular need of the Church and establish a program to work toward a solution. Students also have gone on to further doctoral studies.
