Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Ridgewood
Our Lady of Mount Carmel is home to Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology's STEPS (Seminary's Theological Education for Parish Services) Program, a graduate-level certificate program for adults who desire to deepen their understanding of their faith. The program is offered through the Institute for Christian Spirituality for the formation of lay students for pastoral ministry.

Founded in 1888, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Ridgewood, New Jersey, belongs to the Newark Archdiocese. In 1960, the church building that had stood for nearly 80 years was razed in order to build the current basilica-style church. Renovations and improvements have continued over the years as the parish has grown, including the construction of a Eucharistic Adoration Chapel in 2002. The current pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is Monsignor Ronald J. Rozniak.
