About the Certificate Program
The Certificate in Youth Ministry, designed for people seeking specialized knowledge and skills, is awarded following successful completion of a two-year educational program. Students gain foundations, principles and skills necessary for comprehensive, creative and effective ministry with young people, ages 10-19, in parish, school and social settings. The program consists of four semesters of study (two weekends per semester). A student may begin at any time in the sequence.
 
The certificate program is offered for graduate credit (two weekends required for one three-credit course) or as a non-credit course.

Curriculum 
The Certificate in Youth Ministry consists of four semesters of study (two weekends per semester). A student may begin at any time in the sequence. Classes meet over the course of a weekend: Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
