The Working Together program continues to promote the positive ongoing relationship between the tax practitioner community and the Internal Revenue Service. The annual meeting, open to both IRS employees and the practitioner community, has become a “mark your calendar” event for many New Jersey tax professionals. The intent is to engage in ongoing, meaningful dialogue aimed at improving our dealings with one another, thereby improving service to our common customer- the taxpaying public.

This program is open to all practitioners. CPE Certificates will be distributed to all attendees at the end of the program.

Attendees will be responsible for reporting their CPE credits in accordance with their respective reporting requirements. Eight (8) CPE credits in tax will be awarded for full-day attendance. To ensure the integrity of the program, attendance will be periodically monitored for late arrivals or early departures, and credits will be adjusted accordingly.

The New Jersey Association of Public Accountants (a sponsoring organization for the Northern New Jersey Working Together Conference) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.

Tuition for program:
The conference fee is $110 for 8 CPE credits for registrations received by January 2, 2012. After January 2, 2012, the fee will be $125 for 8 CPE credits. You must contact Cindy Jimenez in writing via email, cindy.jimenez@shu.edu regarding cancellations/refunds by January 3, 2012. Refund requests after January 3, 2012 will not be honored. The ONLINE registration deadline is January 6, 2012.
