You will become part of a nationally recognized program that has been training law enforcement officials for more than a quarter century affording qualified law enforcement officers, criminal justice professionals and government employees at the federal, state, county and municipal levels the opportunity to earn a Master of Arts in Education degree in Human Resource Training and Development.

Who Should Apply?
Law enforcement officers, and individuals in related criminal justice fields, comprise the larger number of applicants, individuals who are highly motivated and disciplined, and who have earned the baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, are welcome to apply for admissions consideration.

Courses and Residencies
This 24-month, 36-credit hour program is offered exclusively in learning teams. The M.A.H.R.T.D. is a “blended” program, completed largely online, with three required campus residencies (Sat. /Sun.): a September residency (orientation/class sessions); followed by a May residency (class sessions) and a third and final residency held the following January (class sessions). Actual months for these scheduled residencies will vary, depending on when a learning team is launched, i.e., fall or spring semester. However, interval of time between campus residencies remains essentially the same for all teams.
