Seton Hall University's online Master of Arts in Counseling is a 48-credit graduate program for students who desire to prepare for a career as a professional mental health counselor. Students may also choose to continue on in their studies through pursuit of a 60-credit online Ed.S. in Mental Health Counseling.

Courses and Residencies
The online M.A. in Counseling program is a 2-1/2 year, 48-credit program consisting of 16, three-credit courses spread over eight semesters. The program also requires two, four-day on-campus long weekend residency visits, which afford you the opportunity to meet face-to-face with SetonWorldWide professors and your peers in the program. You may also take four additional, three-credit courses to complete your Ed.S. degree for a combined 60 credits.
