Offered through Seton Hall University's College of Education and Human Services, SetonWorldWide offers an online Supervisor's Certificate for teachers who already have a master's degree but require additional credits to obtain the Supervisor's Certificate. Successful completion of the program enables you to be eligible for a Supervisor of Instruction position.
Who Should Apply?
Anyone holding a master's degree with three years of teaching experience may apply. After completion of the four courses, faculty within SetonWorldWide and the College of Education and Human Services will assist your application process with the State of New Jersey.

$2,000 plus fees totaling $185 = $2,185 per course.

Course Descriptions
ELMP 6665 Curriculum: Development and Evaluation (3 credits)
Evolving concepts of the curriculum, including philosophy of curriculum development, principles and procedures, necessary tools, preparation, approaches and direct/indirect influences all are essential ingredients of this course.
ELMP 6666 Supervision of Instruction and Evaluation (3 credits)
Theories, principles and practices that determine effectiveness, efficiency and humane supervision are presented. Emphasis is on clinical supervision; general supervision; new research in the field ;and better techniques for observation, evaluation and in-service programs. Supervision of instruction is uniquely presented. It has three hours of lecture tied to the course. The face-to-face lecture is presented the first day of the course.
ELMP 7772 Leadership Dynamics: Analysis of Supervisory Behavior (3 credits)
This course covers leadership traits, strategies and techniques used by administrators and supervisors to implement changes in our system observation and evaluation. Theories, research results, clinical supervisory techniques and observation of teaching practices are discussed.
ELMP 7776 Curriculum: Design and Engineering (3 credits)
This is an advanced course designed to provide program-engineering development for building and central office administrators. Specific strategies for recasting curricula in the face of the many forces that exist are explored.
