Dr. Eunyoung Kim was the recipient of 2007-2008 Paul P. Fidler research grant established by the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition. Her recent article reports selected findings from a qualitative study examining the transition experiences of immigrant students attending college in the United States. Currently, Dr. Kim's research focuses on examining the intersection of social and cultural capital in college aspirations and pursuits and identity formation among under-represented and marginalized students.
