Achieving equal educational opportunity has long been a concern of American higher education, and a major challenge is the persistent disparity in college outcomes across racial/ethnic groups. Using event history methods and data from the Beginning Post-secondary Students (BPS) and National Post-secondary Student Aid Study (NPSAS) surveys, this study examines how financial aid may differentially influence dropout risks among these student groups.
