Physician Assistant Program

Profile

My goals are to help students become excellent clinical providers and to inspire them to realize their potential.

Service has always been the most important component of my work. In my capacity as a Physician Assistant, I have worked with patients and medical students both in the US and on service missions in the Dominican Republic.
I graduated from Duquesne University which was the first five-year, entry-level Master's degree program in the nation for Physician Assistant studies. Early in my career, I worked in anesthesia and pain management. Later, I found my true niche in primary care medicine. Along with practicing clinically, I also developed an interest and actively worked on electronic medical record implementation.
I have been an adjunct professor focusing on PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam) board review class and performing clinical site visits for the Physician Assistant Program at Seton Hall University since 2010. I feel privileged to now be able to be full time in academia after realizing my passion for working directly with students as they become competent health care providers.
