Hired in 2009, Dr. Abraham Fried is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Taxation where he teaches core undergraduate Financial Accounting courses. His research interests include management’s accounting choice and lobbying behavior, security market valuation, and accounting for postretirement plans. He has presented his work at the American Accounting Association annual meetings. Dr. Fried has experience teaching Financial and Managerial Accounting courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels.
