Professor Zakhem does research and private industry training and consulting in business and professional ethics.
Professor Zakhem's teaching and research interests are in business and professional ethics, organizational management, and ethical theory. Dr. Zakhem’s work reflects his academic expertise in ethics and applied ethics and his professional experience as an executive manager and quality management consultant. His more recent publications include the article "Organizational Ethics and the Need for Stakeholder Discourse," Journal of Business Theory and Practice, 1(2) 2013 and the book Managing for Organizational-Ethical Integrity: Principles and Processes for Promoting Good, Right, and Virtuous Conduct (Business Expert Press, 2012). Dr. Zakhem is currently working on a book tentatively entitled Business and Existence: A Kierkegaardian Account of Meaningful Work.
