Profile

Dr. Rubino is an advanced practice psychiatric nurse with over 30 years of experience in teaching and practice.

Dr. Rubino has been an advanced practice psychiatric nurse for over 30 years and currently combines full time teaching with a small psychotherapy practice with older adults. Her clinical and research interests include psychosocial issues in older adults and in military veterans. She is also interested in exploring the social construction of mental health and mental illness.

Dr. Rubino teaches psychiatric-mental health nursing and related courses as well as Master's and doctoral level courses in education.
