Allen Gibson, Ph.D.
Dr. Gibson is an Instructor in the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences.
Hired in 1999, Dr. Gibson is an Instructor in the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences where he teaches the undergraduate courses Quantitative Methods for Business and Supply Chain Management. Prior to joining the department, Dr. Gibson held several positions at AT&T with responsibilities for forecasting, market research, and finance. In his work as instructor, Dr. Gibson developed the current supply chain course taught in the undergraduate program at the Stillman School. Dr. Gibson's research interests center on telecommunications and modeling student satisfaction. His research, which is predominantly contributions to practice in nature, has appeared in Telecommunications Policy and he has served as the editor of Publications of New Jersey's Business Faculty, an annual edition sponsored by the Stillman School together with the New Jersey Business and Industry Association. This publication was the subject of a presentation at the annual meeting of the Eastern Academy of Management.
