Henry Amoroso, J.D.
Dr. Amoroso is an Associate Professor in the Department of Legal Studies, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
Hired in 1990, Dr. Henry Amoroso is an Associate Professor in the Department of Legal Studies, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Legal Environment of Business and Law, and Ethics and Public Policy. In his work as instructor, Dr. Amoroso has introduced several innovations in his coursework, including establishing "corporate boards" of outside professionals to evaluate student-client work. Dr. Amoroso’s research interests center on contributions to practice and the scholarship of teaching. His research, which includes a co-authored textbook, Legal Environment of Business, has appeared in such outlets as the Campbell Law Review, Journal of the Partners in Learning, Business and Public Affairs, and Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel. Dr. Amoroso is an Attorney at Law and is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is currently President and CEO of St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City.
