Profile

Dr. Sard is interested in the development of racial identity and attachment development and its disorders. She is also interested in the general organization of thought development in persons with depression.

Academic Distinctions

Publications are currently used as required reading for first year students in social work at NYU. Several publications on the clinical concerns of racial development in Black patients and recent publications on the use of clinical tools to assess attachment and disorders of attachment.
