Interlibrary Loan (ILL) enables students, faculty, staff and administrators to submit a request for a book or a copy of an article that is not currently available at Seton Hall to be sent from another participating library. It could take up to two weeks to fulfill a request.

Prerequisites
Interlibrary Loan is available only to currently enrolled students, SHU faculty and Admin/Staff.

Before submitting a request, please check below to be sure that the material is not already available at the SHU Library or electronically from an online database.

• To verify the availability of books, please check Library Catalog.
• To verify the availability of journals at the library, check the A to Z List of Journals in Paper or Microform.
• To see if the journal article is available from one of the online databases subscribed to by the SHU Library, check Full Text Electronic Journal Holdings.

Process
To submit a request for a book or a photocopy of an article, please follow the process outlined below.
