The Gastroenterology division is one of the most active clinical and laboratory services. This rotation provides the resident with first-hand knowledge of acute and chronic gastrointestinal and liver diseases.

The fellows rotate between St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, N.J., Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, N.J., and Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, N.J.

There are six positions available of which 90% are filled by graduates of Seton Hall University School of Health & Medical Sciences Internal Medicine Residency Program.
