How Do I Apply?
Submit an online application.
 
To request a program application, please email educate@shu.edu and refer to the Ph.D., Family Psychology program.
 
Application Deadlines
February 15 for program starting in the fall semester.

When Will You Make a Decision on My Application?
A decision regarding admission is normally  made by April 15.
 
Additional Required Documents

• Scores on the Graduate Record Exam within the last 5 years. Subject tests are not required
• A detailed statement of all relevant professional work experience
• A personal statement of 2-3 pages addressing accomplishments, goals, clinical training and work, research involvement and interests and academic experiences
• Three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a former professor and one from a present or former supervisor. Letters must address there areas: clinical experiences, research potential and academic qualifications
• $50 application fee

 
Admissions Criteria and Prerequisites
Submission of graded or published writing samples is required.
