How a Degree from Seton Hall Can Advance Your Career

Graduates of the Instructional Design and Technology Program in School Library Media Certification are in great demand. Every candidate in the program seeking a position has been hired as a full-time SLMS  -- most before completing the program and receiving full certification. Faculty and administrators within the program are contacted regularly by school districts seeking to hire program graduates.

How Graduates Have Benefited from the Program

“I honestly feel that I am where I am today because of Seton Hall! I came to SHU terrified of going back to school, with no idea of how to even turn a computer on, let alone use it; but the professors nurtured me and helped me find my potential. Now I am a school library media specialist at a large suburban high school. I feel confident and competent using technology, and I am totally at ease in the classroom because of the strength of the program and professors at SHU.”  -- Debra Gottsleben, M.A.E. SLMS '05, School Library Media Specialist, Morristown High School
