By graduation, all of the Whitehead School's undergraduate and graduate students experience at least one professional internship in diplomacy or international relations. Our proximity to New York and our relationships with the United Nations and the UN community, businesses, and NGO's offer unparalleled opportunities for professional development. “For me, this is the ideal place to learn IR and practice it at the same time,” notes Karen Garrett (MA'10). “A significant factor in my decision to come to the Whitehead School was its proximity to New York City.
