This five-part workshop series explains social media in a practical and simple way, and includes instruction on WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Snapchat. Whether you're looking to market your business or amplify your personal brand, whether you have thousands of Instagram followers or haven't even set up an account yet, these classes will help you harness social media's vast power. Those who complete this series earn a resume-friendly Certificate in Social Media.
Led by technology experts based at Seton Hall, you’ll start off by learning how to use social media as a marketing tool. You’ll dive into blogging next, then proceed to Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram, followed by Twitter, LinkedIn and Snapchat. On each platform, you’ll learn how to build followers, which networks to use for which audiences, and how to promote live news and events using hashtags or @ mentions. The fifth and final segment focuses on data, and how basic analytics tools can help you develop more effective social media campaigns.
