Ready to tackle the complexities of the rapidly changing field of taxation? Seton Hall’s Stillman School of Business offers the M.S. in Taxation, which exposes you to the basic areas of taxation and teaches you through courses designed to accommodate specific taxation specializations.

Our program is about more than just numbers and tax preparation. Courses are geared to full-time professionals who want to:

  • meet the changing needs of their clientele
  • learn the latest techniques for effectively researching taxation issues
  • gain a comprehensive understanding of current taxation principles and interdisciplinary issues

This 30-credit program is suitable for a variety of business professionals, including practicing accountants, attorneys, financial planners, and recent accounting and non-accounting business graduates who desire a focused taxation education. As a student, you’re exposed to the basic areas of taxation through a strong curriculum that provides a comprehensive overview of theoretical taxation principles and advanced practical applications. Choose to concentrate your study in:

  • state and local taxation
  • foreign taxation
  • personal financial planning

Ready to enroll? Conveniently scheduled classes meet once a week at 6:15 p.m. or 8:35 p.m., with back-to-back courses available for an accelerated program completion. Can’t commit to a weekday course? Some classes are taught on Saturdays and offered online. And if you’re a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), courses within the program also count toward Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements.
