I came to Seton Hall in 2003 to build the Center for Securities Trading and Analysis for the Stillman School. Although most of my experience is with investment banks, I actually began my career by teaching at Ohio University. I then moved to the University of Illinois before taking a position at Salomon Brothers. I have over thirty years of Wall Street experience, including stints with Citigroup, where I built, at the time, the largest trading floor in the world, Deutsche Bank, Moody’s Investor Service, and Lehman Brothers, among others. I am known for designing and implementing securities trading architecture: how firms handle securities from the time a trade is placed until it is officially recorded. In addition to building the Center for Securities Trading and Analysis, I have built the Sharkey Sport Polling Center and am working on the (soon-to-completed) Center for Entrepreneurial Studies.
