Stillman School of Business

Overview

Are you looking to develop the skills to create wealth through the art and science of money management? Then a concentration in finance through the Stillman School of Business is a great starting point. If you are at ease with numbers and enjoy “following the money” from Wall Street to Main Street, this program is for you.

Whether your objective is to secure a position on Wall Street, work in the corporate world, or transform your idea into an entrepreneurial endeavor, you’ll learn from dynamic faculty who offer hands-on instruction in a small-classroom environment. Our finance program bridges the gap from concept to practice, allowing you to tap a vast financial resource network through the School’s own Center for Securities Trading and Analysis, also known at The Trading Room. Here, you’ll get a genuine feel for “following the money,” including the latest national and global market data and news in an open, realistic environment.

Students in the program earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a finance concentration. The 120-credit program centers on the two core areas of finance: financial strategy and investment analysis. Courses emphasize:

  • the time value of money;
  • cash management;
  • project budgeting;
  • stock valuation;
  • bond valuation;
