Highly Accredited. Completely Accepted. Totally Practical.
Like many universities, the majority of our graduate students are part-timers who must balance their education with full-time careers. At the Stillman School of Business, we recognize that our students’ work experiences are enabling them to not only learn about business in the classroom, but to simultaneously practice it in the workplace. In recognition of this changing student dynamic, we have introduced “The Practical MBA” — a fully accredited program that closely matches student needs with their practical experiences.
Here’s how it works: The Practical MBA requires a total of 42 credits versus the usual 60. Rather than removing any essential courses, we eliminated the redundancy found in some M.B.A. programs. As a result, our students can complete the degree in as few as 18 months (versus the typical two-year program).
The Practical MBA is as valuable and specialized as other M.B.A. programs. Students chose from 10 concentrations:
Our program fits even the busiest schedules. To better accommodate our working students, the majority of our classes take place in the evenings. We also offer four-day accelerated courses in leadership and management — a great option for students whose other commitments make attending evening classes challenging. Some organizations — including PricewaterhouseCoopers in Florham Park and Hackensack University Medical Center — serve as off-campus sites for Practical MBA courses; certain courses are even open to non-employees.
And because so many of our students have full-time careers, the Practical MBA affords all of our students the opportunity to network with other business professionals without leaving the classroom.
Our accelerated program allows you to go farther faster — without sacrificing any of the knowledge or valuable skills needed for a successful business career.
