The faculty of the Graduate Department of Jewish-Christian Studies offers a variety of courses that explore traditional sources, historical developments, cultural contexts, and relationships between Jews and Christians through history, using contemporary critical scholarship to advance understanding and balanced assessment.
Reverend Lawrence Frizzell, S.T.L., S.S.L., D.Phil.

Fr. Frizzell pursued graduate work at the University of Ottawa, the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and the University of Oxford, where he specialized in the Qumran Scrolls.

Dr. Bossman has received graduate degrees from The Catholic University in Washington, D.C., the State University of New York at Albany, and Saint Louis University. Editor of Biblical Theology Bulletin since 1981, he explores Christian and Jewish origins, history, and cross-cultural values in a contemporary settings.

Rabbi Asher Finkel, Ph.D.

Professor
Rabbi Finkel holds a rabbinical degree from Yeshiva University and a doctoral degree from the University of Tuebingen, Germany. Rabbi Finkel's special interests include post-biblical Judaism, Jewish thinkers and early Christianity.

Reverend John F. Morley, Ph.D.
