Access to the Walsh Library resources is only provided to students that are registered for Project Acceleration for the duration of the specified academic term. After registration is completed, the high school teacher must contact the Project Acceleration office and submit the names of students that need access to the www.shu.edu/academics/libraries/.
When students go to the Walsh Library, they will need to give the librarian their name and high school and show their high school photo ID or other form of identification. Students may work at the library or check out up to six books for a period of 28 days. These books may not be renewed. Students may search the library's holdings before coming to campus through the online catalog, called " SetonCat," found on the library's homepage at www.shu.edu/academics/libraries/. The homepage will also have information on hours of operation.
Students should get a guest parking pass from the security guard when entering the University gates.
Students may also access various research databases from the library's homepage. Some of these databases are open to all users, while others require a password.
