About the Department

The Department of Political Science and Public Affairs offers a wide range of academic programs.  At the undergraduate level, the department offers a program of study in political science leading to the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.  At the graduate level, the department offers a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) and a Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA).  The department also offers two graduate certificate programs, one in Nonprofit Management and the other in Healthcare Administration.  Learn more »

Faculty

The Department of Political Science and Public Affairs is home to a large and diverse faculty of scholar-teachers. The department’s faculty have published on a wide variety of topics, including Congressional politics, presidential politics, church-state relations, nonprofit management, environmental policy, immigration policy, healthcare policy, media politics, and African economic development.
