Pre-Freshman Summer Program

For all accepted PMPDPP students, the Seton Hall experience begins with our Pre-Freshman Summer Enrichment program. The summer program provides an excellent introduction into pre-medical studies through coursework in science, math, writing and study skills. Upon successful completion, students are also eligible to receive six university credits.

Access Med Program

The Access Med program is based on an affiliation between Seton Hall University and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Selected students begin taking first-year medical courses in their senior year and receive credit towards both the Seton Hall Bachelor of Science degree and a M.D. at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The Access Med program offers a Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) preparation course for selected junior-level students from the Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Plus Program. This intense seven month, weekend preparation class offers diagnostic and review sessions as well as several simulations of the MCAT examination. Students admitted to this phase of the Access Med program can achieve superior results on the MCAT exam.

Tutoring

All Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Plus Program students are provided with math and science tutorial services. Additional tutoring is also available through the Academic Resource Center.
