For more than twenty years, the Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Plus Program PMPDPP) of Seton Hall University has helped students gain acceptance into medical, dental, and other graduate and professional schools.

Our primary goal is to maintain a supportive environment that will allow for the promotion of academic and social success for all PMPDPP students. Admissions
Eligible applicants to the Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Plus Program must be a graduating high school senior or have received a high school equivalency, be a qualified U.S. citizen or permanent resident, a legal resident of New Jersey who has resided in the state for at least 12 months, and one who meets the financial guidelines established by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education's (NJCHE) Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Income Eligibility Scale.  The family income tax return for the year prior to admission is examined during the application review process to determine financial eligibility, prior to interviewing the student for admission to the program. 

There is no application fee for online application submissions or to complete a Common Application (What's this?).  If you require a printed copy of the application, call (973) 761-9648 to receive one in the mail with the fee waiver authorization form. 


Financial Aid
The Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Plus Program offers financial assistance to academically proficient students who lack the financial resources to attain a college degree.  Students may be eligible for funding from Seton Hall University and the New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF), as well as various other State and Federal agencies. All students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for any type of financial aid at Seton Hall University, including scholarships.  It is imperative that the FAFSA be submitted as soon as possible after January 1st.  Online submission is highly recommended.  More >>

Arts and Sciences Hall. Opened in 1973, the building houses the Ruth Sharkey Academic Resource Center, lecture halls, seminar rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, offices for College of Arts and Sciences faculty and administrative personnel, and a computer laboratory.

The University Libraries have notable resources, including extensive holdings of almost 700,000 book volumes, and 1,127 current periodical subscriptions, back-files of more than 6,500 serial titles, electronic access to full text articles in more than 25,000 journals, a broad selection of indexing and abstracting services in both digital and print formats, various microform collections, music CDs, and audiovisual aids.  A complete listing of database resources can be found at library.shu.edu.
