Pi Mu Epsilon is the national mathematics honor society. Seton Hall’s chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon was established in 1968 and is designated the NJ Delta Chapter.
Eligible mathematics and/or computer science majors may be inducted. The eligibility requirements are as follows.
For mathematics or math education majors:
- overall GPA of
- 3.6 for rising juniors
- 3.4 for rising seniors
- GPA of 3.5 in mathematics courses
For computer science majors or mathematics minors:
- overall GPA of at least 3.6
- completion of a mathematics course at the 3000 level or higher
