College of Arts & Sciences
For those applying as non-matriculating students, a completed application package must be received prior to permission being granted to register for courses.

A complete application package consists of:
Once the application is reviewed, the Program Director will conduct an interview with the non-matriculating student. If the student is granted non-matriculating status, he or she is required to have course selections approved by a faculty adviser assigned by the program. Students may not register for any courses without this approval. Priority will be given to full-time, part-time, and dual degree students.

Important Note: Authorization to register for any course or courses is not a guarantee of future acceptance as a matriculated student in a full graduate degree curriculum. A formal graduate application must be submitted with the application fee required by University regulation. No student may complete more than twelve (12) credit hours in a non-matriculated or special status.

We offer rolling admission but the ultimate deadline for submitting applications is July 1 for Fall and December 1 for Spring. Individuals interested in applying for a graduate assistantship should apply by April 30.
