To apply to the online M.A. in Strategic Communication and Leadership:
When Will You Make a Decision on My Application?
We will make a decision within two weeks of receiving your application and all other required materials. If you are accepted but all classes are full, you will automatically be placed on the wait list for the next learning team.
Students will be accepted to the program on a rolling admissions basis and there is no strict application deadline, however, space in MASCL is divided into Fall (September) and Spring (March) cohorts.

Admissions Criteria and Prerequisites
- Minimum of 5 years professional work experience
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
- Official transcripts
- 3 letters of recommendation (academic or professional)
- 1 letter of intent (500 words) that explains your goals for engaging in the
MASCL learning experience. You may also use this as an opportunity to share any
additional information you would like the Admissions Committee to consider for
- 1 copy of your current resume

All Inclusive Tuition
The tuition for the online M.A. in Strategic Communication and Leadership degree program covers all fees, tuition, room and meals for the on-campus residencies and graduation (books and transportation are separate). Please call (973) 761-9698 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for the current tuition.
The tuition does not include the application fee, your personal travel expenses, books, computer equipment, software, and Internet access.
Online courses or those taught under comprehensive fee-based structures are not eligible for tuition discounts.
Textbooks and Materials
MASCL has now moved to eBooks. Now instead of purchasing hardcover or paperback textbooks, students can purchase eBooks and download them to iPad, Kindle, Nook or other eReaders. This is a more cost-effective option for students and works well for those who currently own an eReader or tablet.
We encourage you to learn more about financial aid. This link will explain some options that you have for financing your MASCL degree.
G.I. Bill Yellow Ribbon Program
Eligible veterans and active duty military personnel will received a considerable contribution toward their tuition from the Veterans Administration and Seton Hall University. Many MASCL students are offered full or partial tuition reimbursement by their employers. Check with your employer for more information.
Tuition reimbursement is typically processed at the end of a semester. If you are offered reimbursement, you will still be responsible for initial payments on your tuition. Please see the financial aid information.
