College of Arts & Sciences

For students, staff and faculty who wish to explore a new language on their own, or who wish to brush up on a language they have previously studied, the Language Resources Center (LRC) has several resources to assist self-paced learners.

  1. Audio CDs and books. For individuals looking to listen to language instruction on basic phrases and grammar.  An excellent start for people seeking short-term language learning for travel purposes.

  2. Self-paced software (TellMeMore by Auralog). For highly motivated individuals looking to start a new language, or improve their existing skills.  This intensive online program is available in English (ESL), Spanish, French, German and Italian.  Each program lasts for 6 months.

To view a sample of this program, visit the TellMeMore Campus site online and take the Guided Tour.
