Graduate Communication Program Overview
From the global corporation to the local non profit organization, effective communication is the most vital dynamic for success. Our graduate communication program helps you master the highly desired communication, teaming, critical thinking and leadership skills needed by all organizations. For more than 20 years, employee's communication skills have been at the top of wish lists of employers.
- The Gallup Organization (2003) found that “dealing with people” and “critical thinking” are the most essential skills for success in the workplace.
- Hansen and Hansen (2006) found that the critical employability skills included “communication skills” and “interpersonal skills.”
The Graduate Communication program at Seton Hall University is currently one of the nation's foremost graduate programs in providing practical and challenging education in these essential areas. The unique program provides students a rigorous course of study offering insight and practical strategies for success in all corporate, government, private and non-profit sectors and mastery of the highly desired communication and leadership skills needed by organizations. Students will also gain exposure to the issues, challenges and opportunities in the areas of business, healthcare, education, international relations and other related areas as part of the richness of Seton Hall's Graduate experience.
We offer academically challenging curricula that requires students to think creatively, use state-of-the-art technology, and develop leadership and communication skills in a dynamic, small classroom environment.
