The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences offers programs of study leading to the following degrees:

Our relatively small size and attractive location in New Jersey's pharmaceutical and biotechnology corridor provide a unique intellectual environment that promotes individual student attention and interdisciplinary collaboration. Research opportunities are available in analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, and computational chemistry, and biochemistry.

All courses are offered evenings and weekends and are specifically designed to accommodate both full-time and part-time study. Interaction between working professionals and full-time students allows formation of close contacts, often leading to employment opportunities.
