Through its three divisions – Communication, Art/Art History/Design, and Performing Arts – the Department delivers a high quality education and advanced practical experiences to its majors. Courses are challenging and stimulating, providing both a thorough understanding of essential theory and research as well up-to-the-minute knowledge about the technology, programs, and other requirements of various professions within communication and arts fields.
Classes are taught by award-winning, well-researched scholars and experienced professionals. Students follow a set curriculum of courses in each major, and are given control over communication/arts-related electives to create a focused academic experience.
