The Department of Communication and The Arts is dedicated to academic excellence and ethical development to prepare students for interaction in professional, social, aesthetic, and technological contexts.  Led by outstanding faculty, the Department challenges students to lead, create, and communicate with responsibility, passion, and excellence. Our curriculum embodies cultural innovation within the Liberal Arts tradition in the spirit of Catholicity. The Department cultivates exemplary communication within and among local and global communities.

Offering majors in Art History; Art, Design and Interactive Multimedia; Broadcasting; Communication Studies; Journalism and Public Relations; Music and Theatre and as well as graduate degrees in Communication; Museum Professions and Public Relations, the department delivers high quality education and advanced practical experiences.
