Student Scholarships

Through its Bachelor of Arts curriculum, the Center for Catholic Studies at Seton Hall University provides students with a comprehensive liberal arts education exploring the interaction of Catholicism with the major disciplines and throughout various cultures in the world.   In an effort to help meet students’ needs who wish to major or minor in Catholic Studies,  the following scholarship support is available:

1. Scholarships for Catholic Studies Majors - $8,000
   Four awards are available annually at $2,000 each
   Criteria:   Catholic Studies declared major, Sophomore or Junior Standing,  3.0 GPA.
   
2. Scholarships for Catholic Studies Minors - $3,000
   Three awards are available annually at $1,000 each, for students majoring in Diplomacy, Science and Business
   Criteria:  3.0 GPA, Sophomore or Junior standing.
3. Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen in Catholic Studies - $5,000
   Five awards are available annually at $1,000 each, to incoming
   Freshmen who are interested in the Catholic Studies major and display a competitive academic record.
4. Father Walter Debold Scholarship – distributed annually to support  students participating in Center for Catholic Studies foreign study opportunities.
