Career opportunities for those with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology include business, education, law, management (business, nonprofit, government), public health, urban planning, journalism, human resources, counseling and social research (statistical, market, policy). Many work as criminologists, parole officers, counselors, demographers, policy analysts, media and public relations specialists, and healthcare providers. A bachelor's degree in sociology provides an excellent foundation for graduate study in sociology and in any of the human services.
