Students may take part in cooperative education programs during their last two summers at Seton Hall. These assignments place students in industry or medical facilities to develop laboratory skills, conduct research, and present written reports and seminars. The Biological Sciences Department has sponsored students in association with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, the U.S. Department of Energy, the New Jersey Environmental Protection Agency, local hospitals, and area pharmaceutical and chemical companies.
