Bright Horizons Early Childhood Education Scholarship
- For sophomores and graduate students majoring in early childhood education who will be enrolled full-time for the 2011-12 school year. Must have at least 9 months of experience working with children under age 8. Application requires a 500-800 word essay and three letters of recommendation.

Journalism Education Association (JEA) - Future Teacher Scholarships
- For sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students majoring in a program that will prepare them to teach journalism at the high school level. Short essay and recommendation letters required for application.
- Award: Up to three awards of $1,000 given out annually.
- Deadline: October 15th every year.

Recent graduates with a record of achievement in a biological or physical science, engineering or mathematics, and a desire to teach high school science and/or mathematics in the U.S. For students who are not yet certified. U.S. citizenship not required.
