The ARC helps students make the most of their academic opportunities at Seton Hall University. We provide tutors for challenging subjects and writing projects, information about nationally competitive scholarships, and advising resources for cross-disciplinary majors.
The ARC provides assistance to students in a number of ways.
One-on-one resources, including:
Our peer tutors, graduate student tutors or faculty tutors who work with students on their writing projects and assignments in mathematics, physics, French, Italian, Russian, or Spanish courses.
Group resources, including:
Our Supplemental Instruction program, which provides peer leaders for challenging math and physics courses. On average, students who attend SI review sessions achieve higher course grades than those who do not.
Workshops on a variety of topics, including SPSS, Maple, and preparing a medical school application essay.
