College of Arts & Sciences

The Ruth Sharkey Academic Resource Center promotes student learning and achievement in and out of the classroom by providing:

  • individual and group tutorials for challenging writing projects and subjects;

  • information about nationally competitive scholarships; and,

  • advising resources for cross-disciplinary majors, including health professions, liberal studies, pre-law, and social and behavioral studies.

In addition, the ARC conducts research into how we can improve the ways we supplement student instruction and contribute to the mission of the University.

To find out what the ARC can do for you, browse through our website or stop by the ARC offices on the 2nd floor of A&S Hall.
