Gabriella Romani, Assistant Professor of Italian, holds a Laurea from the University of Rome La Sapienza and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. She has taught at Barnard College and Princeton University before arriving at Seton Hall in 2005. She is the editor and co-translator of Edith Bruck, Letter to My Mother (2006) and is the co-editor of Writing to Delight: Nineteenth-Century Italian Short Stories by Women Writers (2006). She has published articles on various authors and aspects of nineteenth-century Italian culture and literature, as well as on Migrant writers.
